Biography

Shawn Perry's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including complex commercial litigation and class actions. He also represents individuals and businesses in a variety of pre-litigation and non-litigation matters with the goal of helping individuals and companies avoid disputes with thoughtful and carefully drafted contracts and to resolve disputes through negotiations without having to resort to lawsuits. When it is necessary to resolve disputes in court or arbitration, Shawn has the experience, skills and resources necessary to vigorously represent businesses and individuals and is regularly pitted against litigation boutique law firms and some of the largest law firms in the nation. Shawn also counsels businesses and individuals in corporate and personal matters to plan and prevent lawsuits in the first place.

Since the early 1990s Shawn has been lead counsel, co-lead counsel, liaison/local counsel in several class action cases, including antitrust, ERISA, securities, contract and employment actions.

Shawn is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been practicing since 1987. Prior to becoming an attorney, he acted as a legal assistant from 1977 through 1987.
